God save my country!

First off I have been accused of so many things in regards to me country, but let us not get our knickers twisted, I love me country, its the devil inside some of it's inhabitants that push me to the left!

In the last couple of months so much rot has come to the surface it is difficult to know where it is we are heading (thank God we had a prayer day )!Take for example the recent child murders, sacrifices, and kidnappings, Jesus! How do you even think of of killing your own son, your own flesh and blood simply to get, to secre a husband, how? The one horror act that really moves me beyond understanding is the recent kidap, murder and eventual mutilaton of the late Kham Kakama! I mean these guys moved in freezing blood to kidap, kill and then even have the guts to demand ransom for a child whom they had already dumped behinde toilets in a slum ?? How rotten is that?

So when I get on my knees and ask the Lord almighty to save this decaying nation please walk with me because, you never really know where we are heading!

  3. '(thank God we had a prayer day )!'

is that some sort of OXYMORON...? ...what is the efficacy of the NATIONAL PRAYER DAY?

how many corrupt officials came forward to resign and repent? ZERO

have you seen any daily today? tough luck, people are still being killed, children are still being sacrificed.

what is rotten about the Kham (RIP) story is that these stupid hicks were driven by greed, which is not about to be remedied by prayer. (good luck with that).

we need solutions, not wishful thinking. if u can show me any documented record of prayer being effective in causing national change i will readily join you in ur prayer-fest.

we need justice, we need physical tangible change, we need zero tolerance for corruption, we need to spread education, we need to show Ugandans crime is not the best way to get money and financial stability, we need mechanisms that can foster this change.

rather than waste VALUABLE time on ur knees why don't you actually do SOMETHING... innovate ideas that you can forward to the government. DO SOMETHING!
hiding in ur close on ur knees praying is JUST COWARDLY! and really PATHETIC... ur prayers won't put food in street children's stomachs... GIVE THEM FOOD! ...don't sit in ur posh house on ur knees mbu praying and deceive urself that its gonna help them... that's just DISHONEST! (who are you kidding? ...if u want to help... go get ur HANDS DIRTY.. mix with them HELP THEM! with action not with this wishy-washy 'remote-help' that is even intangible!)

be like Mother Teresa... she just did not dream, wish about helping. SHE ACTUALLY WENT OUT THERE AND DID SOMETHING!!!!!!

ur a university student, don't you think there should be a difference between you and some flat footed rural indigent whose only respite is to appeal to some higher calling for even the most trivial of difficulty? (rather than pray for rain, the early Egyptians innovated IRRIGATION... it was the rational thing to do! while their African counterparts sacrificed chickens, humans and prayed for rain...)

sorry for ranting on ur page... but i really REALLY hate this self-defeatist attitude running around UG.

    DO SOMETHING!!!!!

  5. I agree almost entirely execept for the bit where you refute or rather disagee with the power of the lord my God,, yes what we need to do is back up that faith with a call for fresh serekali, a new and better goverment, whether it is the NRM reinventing itself, or anyone, we need a fresh pair of eyes to look at our problems, our priorities!
