King Kenny who?



Yesterday the dear Roy Hodgson left liverpool fc under terms referred to "mutual"! but whom are we kidding, we all know that this was probably Roy's biggest gig so far (probably his last) and there was no way he was just going to give it up! Clearly as the guy said the night before, each time the team crossed that touch line, all he could do was hope that his dreams came true! Well they didn't, a string of lethargic performances let him down and not even the flamboyant English media that you could quite plausibly argue bought him lots of time when he should have gone a while ago could save him! So the cookie crumbled, salvation didn't come and the man had to leave! (by mutual consent)

Step up the man, the king, the saviour, the legend, Kenny Daglish a blast from the past, picked up from a cruise in dubai to save the Blushes of the Mersysiders!
"All I would say is I'm going to do the best I possibly can to try to help the club, but everybody has to pull in the same direction." Those were the first words the 59 year old utterd, the first words as he took the reigns at his beloved Liverpool.
He has does know what success is, afterall he guided Liverpool to three league titles as manager before resigning in 1991.His years at Liverpool marked one of the club's most successful periods: he won seven league titles, three European Cups and five domestic cups.



So yes the man come with quite a hefty profile, and with that a whole load of expectation from the Liverpool faithful.
The question that is however on the minds of even the most fanatic of Liverpool fans is "will he do it? " Will he be the answer to what a managerial change earlier in the summer, a change in club ownership midseason has failed to do? Will he take back Liverpool to the lofty heights of Instanbul and the glorious past? And even more seriously will he save Liverpool from relegation? (yes they are only 4 points adrift from the zone)

The man has alot on his plate, but first Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA cup third round!

About Religious fundamentalism!

Wikipedia refers to fundamentalism as a belief in a strict adherence to an established set of basic principles (often religious in nature), sometimes as a reaction to perceived doctrinal compromises with modern social and political life. Confessions of a non+alcoholic!

Some time last year I decided after what was fast becoming a pretty obvious pattern of life, that I needed to try something new, something different, I needed an experiment of some sort, only this time i was the guinea pig.
